Flood & Environment Simulation Specialists with experience Across 360° videos, VR and Desktop

Including over 3 million views on YouTube for our flood simulation projects

Recreating real-world environments is invaluable when modelling hypothetical scenarios and educating people on how events can impact them.

Since our first heritage flood simulation project for the University of Hull in 2015, we have been developing increasingly accurate environment and sustainability simulations to support a blend of education, training, and local heritage efforts.

With some of our simulation work securing millions of views on YouTube and our experience spanning a variety of platforms from 360° videos and desktop experiences to interactive VR and WebGL games, we are available to support you wherever you are in the development process. Andrew Marvell’s Hull

A combination of environment simulation and heritage work, Andrew Marvell’s Hull recreates 1600s Hull during a devastating flood as the River Humber broke its banks.

Using archival maps and archaeological evidence, we built a digital model of 17th century Hull and, combined with Dr Chris Skinner’s flood modelling, constructed an accurate simulation of the flood’s impact that sheds new light on the city’s history.

InunDation Street

Inundation Street pushes our environment simulation technology into the crisis training space through a 360° video simulation illustrating how to prepare for and respond to urban flooding.

Using terrain data and mapping software, Inundation Street was built from the ground up to replicate a real-world setting and proved exceptionally successful, with millions of views since its release in 2019.

Flash Flood

Built as part of the National Environment Research Council’s (NERC) investigation into flooding from intense rainfall, Flash Flood is a virtual reality education experience designed to show the signs of a flash flood using detailed flood simulation.

The simulation was built using real-world geomorphologist data before and after a flash flood event for maximum accuracy, resulting in a multi-award-winning experience, including a top 3 finish for Best Exhibit at the NERC’s Into the Blue Expo.

Crabby’s Reef

Combining classic arcade gameplay with environmental education, Crabby’s Reef pits the player against AI-controlled octopuses as you try to collect food whilst avoiding predators.

However, after each round, the ocean becomes increasingly acidic, inhibiting your ability to complete the task and emulating the real-world impact of ocean acidification on marine life.
