ABOUT Bish Bash Bots
Bish Bash Bots is a chaotic cooperative tower defence game developed by CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD and published by Firestoke. After initial development focused on PC release, Firestoke reached out to us for support with a full suite of porting services that would bring the game, complete with achievements, local co-op, and online multiplayer functionality to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch.
Working in collaboration with CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD, we developed launch builds for Bish Bash Bots, alongside providing post-launch support to address any additional tweaks and corrections required, resulting in a successful opening for the title generating positive reviews across console as well as on PC.
Full Suite Porting
We ported CATASTROPHIC_OVERLOAD’s existing PC project to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch, including rapid iteration to address each platform’s unique requirements and prepare launch builds.
Networking & Multiplayer
Bish Bash Bots was built around couch co-op and online multiplayer experiences utilising a new and less documented networking system, adding additional complexity to the porting project that we successfully adapted to and addressed.
Post-Launch Support
After a successful launch with excellent reviews across PC and console, we supplied post-launch support to assist with any minor fixes, tweaks, and balance changes required to the console builds, ensuring long-term stability for the title.
