ABOUT Under Cover

Under Cover is a VR cover shooter inspired by classic lightgun titles like Time Crisis, developed by Sigtrap and published by Coatsink.

Sigtrap approached us as VR specialists looking for support with several areas of Under Cover’s development. Over 8-12 months, we supplemented Sigtrap’s team with both senior and regular programmers working across all facets of Under Cover’s systems and design. This included refining UI, developing weapons, constructing back-end systems, refining multiplayer functionality, and more.

The result was the delivery of a tight, concise, and authentic adaptation of the classic lightgun shooter experience built for virtual reality first.


Core Systems & Game DEsign

We assigned a team of dedicated developers to assist Sigtrap throughout the development process, helping to support and implement Under Cover’s design, alongside building several of the title’s core systems, mechanics, weapons, and more.

Back-End & Multiplayer

Alongside our design work, we also helped to reinforce and iterate on Under Cover’s back-end, networking, and multiplayer functionality, helping take the title to the next level and truly emulate the co-operative arcade lightgun shooter experience.

Localisation & Support

Beyond core design and development, our work with Sigtrap also incorporated continued support after initial production, including assistance with localisation implementation.
